The Soup Book

Book Hero Magic formatted this description to make it easier to read. While it's new and still learning, it may not be perfect - your feedback is welcome! Description

Make the most of fresh produce all year round with more than 200 seasonal soup recipes.

Packed with nourishing recipes for every season, The Soup Book is the perfect inspiration for soup season.

Organised by season, and then by ingredient, finding the ideal soup to suit you and what you have to hand has never been easier. Try winter warmers such as parsnip and apple soup, or French onion soup, or enjoy light summer lunch ideas like chilled cucumber soup with dill, or hearty autumnal borscht. The Soup Book has an idea for every mood, vegetable, and season.

There's even a chapter of breads and rolls to accompany your meal, and techniques for making stocks and preparing vegetables, herbs, spices, garnishing, enriching, and rescuing a soup that might be less than perfect.

Featuring recipes from Raymond Blanc, Dan Barber, Alice Waters, and other organic growers and supporters of The Soil Association, The Soup Book offers plenty of recipe ideas and inspiration to fill your bowl. Each recipe is accompanied by freezing times so that you can prepare your favourite recipes to enjoy later, and make delicious, wholesome, and healthy soups all year round.
