Refund policy
If your book arrives damaged, fails to arrive, or we send you the incorrect book - we will look after you with either a replacement or a refund.
If you wish to return a book because you've changed your mind, or made a mistake with your order, we will accept the book back if you notify us within 7 days of receiving your book, and itโs returned to us unread and in mint condition. Weโre happy to accept change of mind returns, though return shipping costs for these will need to be covered by the customer.
During the holiday period, any books purchased between 1 November and 31 December can be returned up until 16 January, provided they are in brand new, unread condition.ย
To start a return, you can contact us at orders@bookhero.co.nz. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address: Book Hero, 8/4 Rawiri Place, Hobsonville, Auckland 0618 and must include your order number.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the book you have for a refund, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new book.
