This weekend is a big one for Book Hero! We’re moving 120,000 books, puzzles, board games and toys into our all-new warehouse and bookstore at 112B Hobsonville Road, Auckland.
Here’s what you need to know:
📦 Online orders – place orders as normal
Our website will remain open throughout the move, so you can continue to place orders as normal. We won’t be processing or shipping orders from Friday to Sunday, but we’ll be back in action on Monday with our usual overnight NZ-wide delivery.
🔹 Wednesday 16 September – Shipping as normal
🔹 Thursday 17 September – Shipping as normal
🔹 Friday 18 September – No shipping (orders can still be placed)
🔹 Saturday 19 September – No shipping (orders can still be placed)
🔹 Sunday 20 September – No shipping (orders can still be placed)
🔹 Monday 21 September – Shipping resumes as normal
📚 Bookstore – closed Friday to Sunday
Our bookstore at 8/4 Rawiri Place will close for browsing and Pick Ups while we move. We know this is inconvenient and we sincerely apologise – we hate being closed! Unfortunately, it simply isn’t possible to keep the shop running while we relocate everything to our new home.

From Monday, you’ll find us at 112B Hobsonville Road, with plenty of parking right out front. We’ll be ready to welcome you, but please bear with us for the first few days while we add a few finishing touches to our new home.
Customer Service will remain available throughout the move, so please continue to get in touch if you have any questions or need help with an order.
We’re sad to be saying goodbye to our home at Rawiri Place where we’ve made so many precious memories, but we’re also incredibly excited about our new home and this next chapter for Book Hero.
