About the Author

Anne Miltenburg (the Netherlands/Kenya) is a brand director, writer, and educator. She is considered one of the foremost thinkers and practitioners working at the intersection of brands and social impact.

After 12 years creating award winning work at global brand agencies like Studio Dumbar and Interbrand, Anne founded Brand The Change in Nairobi in 2014.

Brand The Change is an independent learning organization that trains changemakers in brand building skills. Through their tools, courses and partners like Philanthropy U and the Digital Opportunity Trust, they have trained over 10,000 changemakers in brand building skills.

Anne combines her work as a writer and educator with a practice as a Brand Director for impact-driven tech companies.

Anne lives in Nairobi, Kenya, with her husband, daughter, and two very disruptive cats.
