Description
Agricola: All Creatures Big and Small is a new take on Uwe Rosenberg's Agricola designed specifically for two players, focusing solely on the animal husbandry aspect of the original game. Say goodbye to plows and veggies!
In Agricola: All Creatures Big and Small, you take on the role of an animal breeder managing horses, cows, sheep, and pigs, striving to make the most of your pastures. Players start with a 3x2 game board, which can be expanded during play, providing more space for growth and allowing animals to roam freely.
There are sixteen possible actions available, with each player taking three actions in each of the eight rounds. The objective is to collect the most victory points by enclosing spaces with fences and acquiring a large number and variety of animals, as well as victory point-generating buildings.
The base game includes four standard buildings and four special buildings, each offering unique abilities during gameplay and/or victory points at the end of the game. Success hinges on balancing the construction of infrastructure, such as fenced pastures and buildings, with acquiring animals, which is the primary source of end-game scoring.
