I have to admit I’m a sucker when it comes to Movie Merchandise - usually in the form of Action Figures #perfectconsumer 😁
But, hey what would a movie be without some good toys to go with it? Movie related toys allow us to recreate and replay the magic movie moments again and again. They also act as tangible ‘memento's’ that can be put on display to trigger great memories and remind us of those awesome feelings we got when we watched a fantastic movie for the first time…
So without any further ado - in no particular order here are my Top 5 (current) Movie related Toys…
Jurassic Park / World - Dinosaur Toys
In my opinion when it comes to dinosaurs bigger is better…so with that in mind you can’t beat the two villains from both the old and current JP movies…
An ‘oldie but a goodie’ you can’t beat the OG Tyrannosaurus rex!
And... for the newer JP fans out there… the villain from the recent Jurasic World movie - the Rumble 'n Rampage Distortus rex
Minions - Soft and 'Smelly'
Hey bahdee! Since first appearing in Despicable Me all the way back in 2010 - Minions are now firmly part of the pop-culture psyche with Minions appearing on all kinds of merchandise imaginable…
For my mind when it comes to Minions nothing says ‘Minions’ like a classic soft toy or the ‘Minion made famous’ fart blaster!! It just wouldn’t be a Minions movie without an infamous ‘fart blaster’ scene or two.
Gabby’s Dollhouse - The Dollhouse
Gabby without her dollhouse? That would be like Han Solo with no Millennium Falcon.. No dollhouse - no adventures for Gabby…

Masters of the Universe
Bit of a ‘reverse’ scenario here… the toys essentially created the TV show and created the Movies.
I know the recent movie release has had mixed reviews and underperformed at the box-office - I still liked it and am hoping that it gets a second ‘wind’ when it hits streaming services…
You can’t have a MOTU world without Castle Grayskull and Snake Mountain and the 'Clash for Eternia' playset does both!
You can’t have He-Man without the ‘Power Sword’ and this electronic one is pretty cool with lights and sound effects. My one is currently hanging on the wall above my desk.. 😂
Toy Story - All Of It! 😂
Well it’s in the Movie name!! - so of course there are going to be Toys!
There are so many different Toy Story related toys - pretty much anything under the sun. But for me you can’t go past a classic looking Woody or Buzz figure.
The great thing about the Toy Story range is that there are toys for all tastes and budgets.
For me personally it’s hard to beat the classic 12” scale Toy Story figures which display really well.
