About the Author
ARTHUR WOODS is a social entrepreneur and LGBTQ+ advocate. He is the co-founder of Mathison, the leading technology for equitable hiring, giving employers a single software for diversity recruiting, reducing hiring bias, and engaging employees in diversity hiring efforts. Arthur is a three-time TEDx speaker, was named to Forbes 30 Under 30 and 40 Under 40 by BEQ. He previously co-founded Out in Tech, co-founded Imperative, and led operations for YouTube EDU. Arthur is a World Economic Forum Global Shaper and contributes to Fast Company.
SUSANNA THARAKAN is a leader and researcher focused on advancing diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplaces. She developed Mathison’s Equal Hiring Index® and currently leads DE&I initiatives at Sisense. She earned her Bachelor’s in psychology at Rutgers University and Master’s in industrial/organizational psychology at Springfield College.
