About the Author

David S-K. Ting is a professor at the University of Windsor, Canada, where he founded the Turbulence and Energy Laboratory. His research interests include the exploration of combustion, turbulence, convection heat transfer, and fluid-structure interactions. He has co/supervised over 90 research students primarily on energy, thermofluids, and sustainability for 28 years. He has authored five textbooks, coauthored 200 journal papers, and coedited 40 volumes. Jacqueline A. Stagner is the undergraduate programs coordinator in the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Windsor, Canada. She is a professional engineer with a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering. She supervises research students primarily in sustainable energy and living, in the Turbulence and Energy Laboratory. She has disseminated numerous journal articles in addition to coediting 20 volumes.
