This week, we welcomed Reverie Puzzles to Book Hero and I am obsessed with all of them. Reverie Puzzles is an Australian jigsaw puzzle brand specialising in bookish puzzles and they have delivered in such a magical way.
There are puzzles with official art from popular fantasy books, gorgeous fantasy art, cosy moments and puzzles inspired by literary classics. Basically, if your idea of the perfect afternoon involves a good book, a puzzle and absolutely no plans, there is probably a Reverie Puzzle for you.
Where Books & Puzzles Meet 📖
One of the things I love most about Reverie is just how bookish the entire range feels.
There are puzzles inspired by the kinds of worlds so many of us love escaping into when we read: sprawling fantasy landscapes, magical libraries, cosy reading nooks and scenes that look like they belong between the pages of your favourite fantasy novel.
And then there are the officially licensed puzzles, which take that one step further by letting you piece together artwork from books you already know and love.
For the Fantasy & Romantasy Readers
This was probably the part of the range that had me the most excited.
If your bookshelves are filled with fantasy and romantasy, there are dragons, castles, magical landscapes and beautifully illustrated worlds that feel like they could have come straight from the books on your TBR.
They’re the kind of puzzles I can imagine putting on an audiobook, making a cup of tea (or hot choc) and completely disappearing into for a few hours.
Puzzles That Are A Little Cosier 🌻
Not everything has to involve dragons and magical kingdoms though.
Reverie also has some seriously gorgeous cosy puzzles, filled with bookshelves, flowers, warm little spaces and all those tiny details that make a puzzle so satisfying to put together.
These are the ones I will reach for after a few hours in the garden and want to escape into something just as cosy.
Classics, But Make Them Puzzles 🐰
I also love Reverie’s literary-inspired designs.
There’s something really lovely about seeing classic stories reimagined as puzzle artwork, especially when the finished puzzle feels like something you’d happily leave out just to look at for a little longer. I feel like they’re the epitome of celebrating reading and what made us all readers to begin with - and being Alice in Wonderland inspired is just as fitting.
It makes them such a fun gift for readers too, particularly if you’re shopping for someone who already owns every book they could possibly want.
Tiny Puzzles, Maximum Temptation 🧩
And then there are the mini puzzle packs.
I’ve already been talking about how much I love mini puzzles lately, so naturally Reverie’s packs of tiny bookish puzzles have immediately shot straight to the top of my wishlist.
They’re small, beautifully designed, portable and perfect for when you want the satisfaction of finishing a puzzle on the go. Next up, testing to see if they will fit in a puzzle book (a tiny on the go storage container for books - interested?).
Welcome to Book Hero, Reverie 💜
I think what makes me so excited about Reverie Puzzles is that they feel like such a natural fit for Book Hero.
We already have so many readers who love fantasy, romantasy, beautiful artwork and escaping into another world for a few hours, and now you can do exactly that without even opening a book.
Although personally, I’d recommend doing both. Pick a puzzle inspired by your favourite kind of story, put the audiobook on in the background and settle in for the ultimate bookish puzzle night.
Now I just have to decide which Reverie Puzzle I’m doing first...
