The Music Thinking Jam Cards contain inspirations from the vast world of music for business, society, and personal growth. This card set comprises 38 inspiration cards and six cue cards. Each inspiration card features a keyword, a key visual, a trigger question, an inspirational quote, a link to a musical piece on Spotify, and connects with the six cues of the Music Thinking Framework, which are briefly explained in the accompanying booklet.
Music Thinking is the quest for the ultimate remix of empathy & strategy, plan & performance, thoughtfulness & playfulness, inspiration & transpiration, business & the arts. Most importantly, it embodies a mentality of meaningful collaboration. There is no single correct way to conduct a jam card session—you can use them individually or with a group.
• Improvise like a jazz musician by flipping through the cards. Identify the card that is most interesting, exciting, disturbing, or boring, and consider its significance to you.
• Play like a DJ by exploring and making combinations to discover the right collection that could address a latent need of your audience.
• Think like a composer by starting with one of the six cue cards. Determine the most crucial starting point for you or your team. Find inspiration cards containing this cue and then connect with another cue.
