The Rosebud Tarot

The Rosebud Tarot is a 78-card tarot deck based on the structure found in the classic Rider-Waite-Smith. Its exquisite images offer a dreamscape of pathways into the tarot and make way for an inclusive experience that is more resonant for today's tarot readers.

Several of the cards have been renamed, including the court cards, for example:

• KNIGHTS become VELOCITY
• QUEENS become GENEROSITY
• KINGS become SOVEREIGNTY

Additionally, the deck's creators have chosen to highlight the elements for each minor arcana suit, rather than using the traditional titles:

• PENTACLES become EARTH
• CUPS become WATER
• WANDS become FIRE
• SWORDS become AIR

The deck comes with a guidebook, written by Diana Rose Harper, in a mythopoetic style that provides meaning not just with keywords to memorise but as guidance for creating your own meaningful and accurate interpretations. Also included is a brief history of the tarot and other information and resources to support you with your tarot studies.
