About the Author
Fiona Cook is a mother, home health care worker, community gardener, and writer living in Chicago. Her debut book, The Wheel of the Year: An Illustrated Guide to Nature's Rhythms, a collaboration with illustrator Jessica Roux, was a New York Times bestseller and a Kirkus Best Books of 2023 for middle grade. Fiona is inspired by the magic, mystery, and mischief of our planet Earth and draws from that relationship with her work.
Kathleen Neeley is a Tulsa-based artist specializing in relief printmaking and illustration. Her work draws heavily from myth and folklore, personal imagery, and nature.
