About the Author
Atin Basuchoudhary is the Roberts Professor of Free Enterprise at the Virginia Military Institute. He has published numerous books on machine learning and the political economy of conflict. He has also won numerous teaching and research awards at VMI, including a finalist citation for teaching excellence from the State Council of Higher Education of the Commonwealth of Virginia. GΓΌnther G. Schulze is a Professor of Economics at the University of Freiburg, Germany, and director of the Department of International Economic Policy. His research areas comprise political economy, international and development economics, and the economics of conflict and terrorism. He has published and co-edited six books and authored around 50 peer-reviewed articles in leading journals and numerous book chapters.
