Shanila Sattar is an integrative wellness leader, a fourth-generation sound healer, breathwork coach, and founder of AlwaysPlay Studios and The Integrative Healing Academy, a playground for healing and healers that mixes science with the mystical and having fun while getting it done. With support from California to bring holistic healing to womenโ€™s shelters, veteransโ€™ legions, and underserved schools, her organizations support facilitators to learn the indigenous roots of holistic practices and create mindful, sustainable, soulful businesses. Sattar spent more than a decade working in the tech world before pivoting to pursue her lifeโ€™s passion, including helping BIPOC healers hone their crafts and close wellness gaps in our communities.
