On January 31, 1969, Meher Baba dropped his physical body. We have recently marked the fiftieth anniversary since that event occurred.

There were two significant Avataric responsibilities that were to be set in motion based on Baba leaving our physical presence. First, while still living, Meher Baba had promised us that he would break his silence during his living lifetime. He began his silence on July 10, 1925, and (as far as we know) continued in that silence for the remainder of his life. Did he break that promise to us, or did he actually break his silence while still living?

The second responsibility is related to his Manifestation. With the dropping of his body, his Manifestation was set in motion. What specifically does that mean, and how can we recognise his Manifestation as it is being fulfilled?

Meher Baba's Breaking of His Silence and Manifestation develops a theory that says yes, Meher Baba did break his silence. This theory also provides a possible date for when this event actually happened and offers insight into why most Baba followers are not aware of its actual occurrence. The book also presents a theory related to Meher Baba's Manifestation and discusses how this event is impacting and will continue to impact our lives and the lives of all humanity as we continue to live through this time of Meher Baba's Manifestation.

This book also discusses Baba's "Final Declaration." This document is central to understanding the Manifestation itself. Within its writing, it sets forth Baba's prediction as to what will be occurring over these next centuries. It also provides insight regarding the 'New Humanity.' The arrival of this new humanity will initiate a new direction and spirituality within all human life.

About the Author

I became a Meher Baba follower and lover in the early 1970's. I had been on a spiritual quest all through my college years and into my early adulthood. I was born and raised as a Christian and the basis of my faith was built on Christ's and God's love for all humanity and for all living creatures . My spiritual search was not in the rejection of my Christian upbringing; but it was in what my beliefs were becoming in and of themselves; they felt incomplete. Something was missing. When I found Meher Baba, everything finally became full and complete. For me, it was never a rejection of one for the other, but a completeness within both. In Baba's truth, I found Baba in Christ and Christ in Baba and in their union as One, I found my peace. This gave me the spiritual anchor that I had been searching for in my life.

One of the things that I discovered about life, however, is that the need for spiritual quests never ends. It seems as if my life has become one continuous spiritual search after another. Questions arise within me and I then attempt to seek out their solutions. The deeper that you dig into your soul; the more that it will reveal back to you.

This is my second book. My first book is titled: "The Universal God, The Search for God in the Twenty-First Century". It is a comparative religion book and is based on a simple supposition: Suppose that each of the major modern religions were founded and sparked through divine revelation. Suppose that the fundamental truths that form the basis and foundation of these religions are actually true. With this understanding, the book then discusses each of these religions in self-contained chapters. Each religion is presented in a positive manner. The last portion of the book then seeks to fine commonalities within each of these religion's 'truths and beliefs' that they actually do shared with each other. Most comparative religion books seek to emphasize each of these religion's differences. Within this book the emphasis is on pointing out the many beliefs that they actually do share in common.

This new book also came to be through spiritual curiosity. Questions arose within me related to Meher Baba's breaking of his silence and manifestation. We are now living fifty years into his manifestation. To me, these are the two most essential events in understanding Meher Baba's full Advent. As Baba followers, we currently can only look backwards to remember who he was. Until we address and understand the 'breaking of his silence and manifestation', we can't look forward. Baba's fulfillment of the 'breaking of his silence and manifestation' hold the key for all of us to know where we are going. The fulfillment of those two events sets in motion both our futures; as Baba lovers, as well as the future for all humanity.
