About the Author
Deanna Minich, PhD, is an internationally known nutritionist, researcher, counselor, and author with more than fifteen years of experience in the nutrition field. Her ability to translate difficult nutrition information into everyday hints and tips allows others to make healthy choices in grocery stores, restaurants, and kitchens. She is the author of The Rainbow Diet, Chakra Foods for Optimum Health, An A-Z Guide to Food Additives, and The Complete Handbook of Quantum Healing. Dr. Alejandro Junger is a cardiologist, founder of the Clean Program, and a New York Times bestselling author of four books: Clean, Clean Gut, Clean Eats, and Clean 7. He graduated from medical school in his home country of Uruguay. Subsequently, he moved to New York City for his postgraduate training in internal medicine at New York University and fellowship at Lenox Hill Hospital. The drastic change in lifestyle and diet resulting from his move to New York City soon showed up as irritable bowel syndrome and depression. Becoming a patient inside the very system he was practicing was such a shock that it started his journey in search of an alternative solution to his health problems.
