Colin Spoelman, a former rooftop moonshiner from Kentucky, and David Haskell, the great-grandson of a Prohibition-era bootlegger from New York, founded Kings County Distillery in 2010 to make small-scale batches of moonshine, bourbon, and other whiskeys.
