The River Gum Cottage establishes Leonie Kelsall firmly in the stable of rural fiction writers - just the right amount of romance, community and intrigue.' - Rachael Johns, author of the bestselling Outback Secrets

Sometimes, home isn't a place: it's a feeling.

Lucie Tamberlani is poised to take over management of her family farm in South Australia, but when her relationship collapses, she flees to raise her daughter alone. Four years later, summoned back to the farm after her father's death, Lucie must find a way to deal with grief and guiltβ€”and the betrayal that forced her away.

Jack Schenscher is doing it tough: caring for his aged grandparents and managing their wheat farm as well as his own acreage leaves him with little time and even less money. And now, with the death of his business partner, Jack fears losing all he has worked towards.

Neither Lucie nor Jack are looking for love; each is facing their own realities. Yet together, will they discover that home is wherever the heart is?

About the Author

Leonie grew up in the South Australian country - initially on the beautiful Fleurieu Peninsula in a tiny town where the school had a total enrolment of only eleven students, and later on a farm near the stunning Murray River. Her rural upbringing encouraged a love of books, for which she will be forever grateful.

She couldn't wait to hit the bright lights of the big city when she graduated -- however, a few years working in government departments saw her longing to make her way back to the country. She now finds herself dividing her time between her professional counselling practice in the beautiful Adelaide Hills, and her childhood farm, which provides the setting for many of her stories.
