About the Author
Sophie Cunningham is the author of three picture books, Mango and Hopscotch, Tippy and Jellybean and Flipper and Finnegan, as well as of many books for adults, including, This Devastating Fever and City of Trees. She is a former publisher and editor and now a teacher of Creative Writing. In 2019 Sophie Cunningham was made a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) for her contributions to literature.
Anil Tortop was born and raised in Türkiye. She moved to Australia in 2011, and has been trying to get used to the local eight-legged house intruders and slithering visitors to her garden ever since. Originally an animator, she shifted her focus to children's books and works primarily digitally. Her previous books include Mango and Hopscotch, Tippy and Jellybean and Flipper and Finnegan by Sophie Cunningham, Bat vs Poss by Alexa Moses, and Pigasus by Zanni Louise. Anil lives in Queensland with her husband and daughters.
