About the Author
Genevieve Carver is part-writer, part-Water Spirit. Sheโsย theย author of three books of poetry,ย theย latest of which she wrote after spending time on an uninhabited island inย theย Northย Sea, with scientists studyingย seabirds and dolphins. She wonย Theย Moth Nature Writing Prize for this work. Genevieve has previously worked as an archaeologist and holds an MA in European Prehistoryย fromย theย University of Sheffield. She isย one ofย theย Creative Directors of Sheaf Poetry Festival in Sheffield, and a Royal Literary Fund Fellow atย theย University of Aberdeen.
