The Ides of March by Lillian Rose follows the story of Marlena and Evan, who found a second chance in life when they collided by chance seventeen years ago. As a crisis centre manager, Marlena's personal history of emotional and traumatic experiences has made her resilient and grateful for her present life and family.
Now, believing her own demons were dealt with long ago, or at least well-managed, she helps others face their own pain and struggles. Without warning, a figure from her past appears, enlisting her help with an old murder investigation. This challenge will require Marlena to tap into her deepest emotional and personal strengths, as it brings intense emotions and deeply buried memories to the surface.
Everything will come together, one way or the other, by the Ides of March.

About the Author
Lillian Rose has practiced as a school psychologist in North Carolina and Maryland for three decades. She has a Master of the Arts in School Psychology from Towson University and a Certificate of Advanced Study in Psychology from Loyola University Maryland. "The Ides of March" culminated from intrigue created by observations of the human condition. It is the author's hope that the story is an opportunity for one's personal reflections about life, a realization that tomorrow is promised to no one, and the comfort that embracing one's journey can be part of healing.
