See moreIn 1999, a shy and quiet thirteen-year-old Lisa had a crush on her sister's college boyfriend, Lamont Johnson, a charismatic and athletically gifted twenty-year-old football player. The two begin a secret romantic love affair.
Now, thirteen years later, Lisa's past is thrown into the spotlight. Lamont Johnson, now a famous NFL star, has been accused of sexual assault by several young women. When old intimate emails and texts that were once shared between Lisa and Lamont resurface, all the dark secrets Lisa had long buried are now threatening to become public knowledge.
Lisa could deny it, remain silent, or finally admit the truth to herself and everyone else. With these recent revelations, Lisa's life is flipped upside down as her friends, family, and the public demand answers.
Lamont was essential in developing Lisa into the successful woman she is now. He believed in her when no one else did and even invested in her business. She owes so much to him, but now she could lose everything because of him.
The Fragile Truth presents a gripping narrative of love, betrayal, and the challenging journey towards self-realisation and truth in the face of public scrutiny.
