The Fifth Sun - A Storm's Coming... is a blend of metaphysical fiction and narrative nonfiction based on the true-life adventures of Rev. Dr. JC Husfelt and Rev. Sherry Husfelt. These adventures and experiences are documented in their memoir: Tequila and Chocolate, The Adventures of the Morning Star and his Soulmate.

The Fifth Sun is a novel where fiction and reality blur. Ages come and go, with one Age flowing into another, fading into the mysteries of lost times. Heroes rise and fall, becoming mere shades of legend. Five Ages, each spanning 26,000 years, culminate into a Great Age. Prophecies speak of great destruction at the end of such a Great Age. It is said that this destruction doesn't have to happen, yet here we are, with 26,000 years having passed. Humanity faces the end of a Great Age—what will happen next? Will humanity survive?

The Mesoamericans identified these Five Ages as Five Suns. We are living in the Fifth Age or Fifth Sun. Each previous Age concluded with the destruction or death of the "old" and the rebirth of the new. The Fifth Sun marks the end of a great 26,000-year cycle. The Sixth Sun begins anew, or does it? Will we face the beginning of a new Great Age or an ending?

The Fifth Sun is a tale of adventure, intrigue, betrayal, magic, and sex. As Dr. Husfelt writes in their memoirs: "It simply isn't a tale to be told if there not be dragons."

Explore the lands of Greece, Peru, Belize, France, Iceland, Japan, the Below Lands' Golden City, and Mexico in this highly descriptive travelogue. Experience the ghosts of Persian warriors, Huayna Picchu's condor that walks, assassins, mutants, shapeshifters, hungry ghosts, dragons, the City Where Men Become Gods, and of course, the storm.

The Fifth Sun reveals a quest to discover a talisman that will reverse climate change and a message to initiate a significant shift in human behaviour and economies, addressing the biodiversity crisis's roots.

The Fifth Sun is the first novel of a trilogy: The End of an Age, comprising The Fifth Sun, The Sixth Sun, and The Black Sun. Begin the adventure today and join us on a quest to reveal the truth and reverse climate change.

From the beginning of Chapter 1 - Shri:

He felt ancient with bitterness and heartache. Tears formed in the corners of his sorrow-filled eyes, turning his thoughts to sadness, grief, and extreme anger. He could no longer hold her, hug and kiss her, or gaze into her beautiful eyes. He could no longer feel her loving heart radiating warmth and compassion or imagine spending the rest of his life with her. His love for her was the one troubadours proclaimed—an eternal love resonating through the ages. She had been murdered, assassinated, and he was next in the bullseye of the same assassins. Nonetheless, he still needed to finish what they began—to reveal the truth that would change the course of history. Institutions, driven by the desire to maintain power and greed, did not want this revelation. Little did they realise; he was the eye of the Storm, the Hurricane ... and he was coming for them.
