About the Author

Kaya nganyang kwerl (Hello, my name is) Roslyn Khan. I am a proud Noongar/Yamatji yok (woman). I am a mother and grandmother. My grandmother's family on my dad's side originated from India. I was born in Yarloop, not far from the next town Harvey which is where I grew up. In 2000 I moved to Bunbury situated on Wardandi boodja. In 2017 I first started my Noongar language journey that gave me more connection to my culture and Country. My dream is to pass it down to my children and grandchildren. Yanga (Thank you). My daughter did the illustrations for this book.
