The tyrannical ruler of Aelia, seeking war with his neighbour, brings together several of the kingdom's professors for a meeting. Having only recently invaded Aelia a few years ago, First Citizen Gyges cannot afford another unjustified assault affecting his public image.
His solution, seemingly simple yet entirely mad, is to have these scholars construct a fake ancient city from scratch to support his apocryphal claims.
Now, these academics must collaborate to make history—because failure means losing their heads altogether.
