See moreLibertine is an invitation into Johnson Hartig's world, as the designer shares images of his eccentric and whimsical fashion designs, inspirational references, and his captivatingly eclectic interiors
Libertine is the first comprehensive monograph on the vibrantly youthful clothing line of the celebrated designer and tastemaker Hartig Johnson. Similar to personal style books such as Fashionably Selby and A Perfectly Kept House, but more intimate, this brilliant volume will inspire readers on how to develop their own style. It is sure to appeal to fashionistas and the style-savvy, as well as to those interested in fashion design, interior design, and cultural trends.
With over 250+ colour photographs, Libertine is an invitation into designer Johnson Hartig's world, offering a very personal look at his whimsical fashion designs, inspirational references, and his captivatingly eclectic home.
Book Hero Magic summarised reviews for this book. While it's new and still learning, it may not be perfect - your feedback is welcome! HOW HAS THIS BEEN REVIEWED?
Libertine by Johnson Hartig stands out for its unconventional format, eschewing a typical chronological order in favour of an eclectic, alphabetised structure. This unique approach creates surprising juxtapositions, such as placing diverse figures like André Breton, Andy Warhol, and Andy Williams side by side.
