Our tale resumes with a journey to a fabled location and time, as Tyler has uncovered a startling truth—Henry is not just a loyal butler to the family as the ever-present protector of the Claus lineage and destiny. He is Father Time, the ancient guardian of history and memories. Now trapped in his vulnerable Baby New Year form, Henry has been kidnapped by the vengeful Von Klon, who has journeyed back through time to capture Tyler’s mythic grandfather, seize the North Pole and rewrite history so that he is never banished.

Chasing Von Klon into a Christmas Eve long ago, Tyler, Herobear, and Elmo infiltrate the legendary factory, joining forces with elves, toy soldiers, and Herbert the Humbug to stop the villain’s mechanical army. As they battle to protect the Holiday heritage, rescue Tyler’s family, and protect the very flow of time, Tyler draws closer to understanding the true origin and purpose of Herobear. And the stakes could not be higher—for if they fail, the past will be rewritten and Herobear may disappear from existence forever.

About the Author

Mike Kunkel wanted to be a cartoonist ever since he was a little kid. And with over 30-years experience, he has continued to do what he dreamed of . . . create and tell cartoon stories for audiences. As a four-time Eisner and Ignatz Award nominee, Mike is best known for his two-time Eisner-winning series Herobear and the Kid. He also helped relaunch DC’s SHAZAM as an all-ages comic series. As a Story Artist, Character Designer, Animator and Director, Mike has contributed to animated TV shows, films, games, and branding, winning the ANNIE AWARD for “Best Character Design in an Animated Television Production."" His work spans major studios such as Warner Bros, Nickelodeon, Sony, DreamWorks, Sesame Workshop, and Disney. Mike lives in Southern California, where he enjoys learning magic tricks, creating cartoons, and playing games with his family. He’s never been early for a deadline.
