About the Author

Rebecca lives on the Gold Coast where she enjoys the sun and surf. To maximise her opportunities for reading and writing, Bec teaches writing and communication at a university, and also works as a research assistant. Although her first official publication is with Larrikin House, in Year 3 Bec self-published a modern classic, β€˜Room 11 Climbs Mount Everest,’ that was kindly typed out by the school office staff. The first (and only) edition is stored securely at her parents’ home so as not to wear the staple binding. Bec loves adventure and writing stories for adventurous kids.
