About the Author

Rebecca lives on the Gold Coast where she enjoys the sun and surf. To maximise her opportunities for reading and writing, Bec teaches writing and communication at a university, and also works as a research assistant. Although her first official publication is with Larrikin House, in Year 3 Bec self-published a modern classic, โ€˜Room 11 Climbs Mount Everest,โ€™ that was kindly typed out by the school office staff. The first (and only) edition is stored securely at her parentsโ€™ home so as not to wear the staple binding. Bec loves adventure and writing stories for adventurous kids.
