Enough About Angels by László Krasznahorkai, winner of the Nobel Prize in Literature 2025, begins in an intriguing manner: "It may seem to you that I am standing here and speaking into a microphone, but I'm not." The author delivers his 2025 Nobel Lecture to a captivated audience in Stockholm. Yet in his mind, he imagines himself pacing the room—more precisely, the room in the tower he inhabits, a tower that is merely so owing to the incline of the hill.

Throughout his lecture, Krasznahorkai contemplates the presence of angels, the power of humanity, and how amidst our current degraded epoch, destruction might give rise to rebellion. These reflections are expertly woven into his narrative, offering a profound exploration of existential themes relevant to our times.
