In Eagle Strike, Anthony Horowitz delivers another riveting story in the thrilling Alex Rider series. This time, our teenage spy Alex Rider finds himself in the picturesque South of France, ostensibly to enjoy a much-needed break from his perilous life as a spy and distance himself from MI6. However, his holiday takes a dark turn when a sudden, brutal attack on his hosts, including his friend Sabina Pleasure's journalist father, thrusts Alex back into the whirlwind world of espionage and danger.
Forced to confront another sinister scheme, Alex stumbles upon a diabolical plan known as 'Eagle Strike'. As he delves deeper into the mystery, Alex finds himself up against Damian Cray, a brilliant yet twisted billionaire pop star whose philanthropic façade masks his lethal intentions. The stakes are higher than ever as Alex uncovers a global conspiracy that could lead to unimaginable terror. Determined to stop Cray before it’s too late, Alex must navigate a series of deadly challenges and near-impossible situations, relying on his wits, courage, and the survival skills he's honed over his previous missions.
