Experience the exhilarating world of espionage in Stormbreaker by Anthony Horowitz, the opening novel in the wildly popular Alex Rider series. Fourteen-year-old Alex Rider's life is dramatically altered when he discovers his late uncle, Ian Rider, was not merely a banker as Alex had been led to believe, but a top-secret spy for the British intelligence agency, MI6. Alex is reluctantly drawn into the dangerous world of espionage, becoming the agency's youngest recruit.

With minimal training but armed with an array of ingenious gadgets, Alex is thrust into a mission that would challenge even the most seasoned secret agent. His target is Herod Sayle, a mysterious and wealthy businessman whose gift of state-of-the-art Stormbreaker computers to every school in England has raised alarm within MI6. What appears to be a generous and benevolent act harbours sinister intentions, and Alex must navigate a web of deceit and danger to uncover the truth.

As the stakes rise, Alex finds himself in increasingly perilous situations, from high-speed chases to life-threatening traps. The line between friend and foe blurs, and Alex must rely on his wits, agility, and bravery to survive.
