Praise
'...one of those books that just grabs you from the first moment you pick it off the shelf. It gave me that little skip in the heartbeat I get when I see something really beautiful' -- We Heart Books
'Daddo and Quay's latest book is a beauty, which children will enjoy listening to when very young, and reading as they get a little older. The images are innovative and natural all at the same time. This is a book you'll read and treasure for many years' -- Preschool Entertainment
'Andrew Daddo has a special talent for spotting the things that most parents do, and turning it into something that parents and children can relate to. Emma Quay's illustrations work really well to convey the warmth and character of the relationships being depicted. The whole effect is both soft, and accessible - any family; a standard day; and tons of love. One of the best' -- Oz Teachers

About the Author
Andrew Daddo is an author, columnist, broadcaster and TV presenter. He has been writing for children for over 25 years, including First Day, When I Grow Up and Old Friends, New Friends. Grandpa's Guide to Happiness is the follow-up to Grandma's Guide to Happiness and both books are about good old-fashioned fun. Andrew lives on Sydney's northern beaches with his wife and three children. Emma Quay is an illustrator and writer of many award-winning picture books; her memorable characters for Rudie Nudie, My Sunbeam Baby, Shrieking Violet, Daddy's Cheeky Monkey and Rudie Nudie Christmas are favourites on children's bookshelves all over Australia. Her most recent title for young children, Happy All Over, celebrates the small joys to be found in the everyday. Emma grew up in the English countryside, and has wanted to illustrate children's books for as long as she can remember. She works from a studio in her home and sometimes feels like she barely leaves it, but her illustrative work is held in collections around the world, including the Victoria and Albert Museum, London.
