A Villa with a View
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ‘The Amalfi coast setting, the handsome grumpy Italian, this book has it all!!’
Experience a sizzling summer romance like no other in this 2025 must-read novel!
A Villa with a View by Julie Caplin transports readers to the idyllic white sandy beaches and turquoise blue seas of the Amalfi coast. But for Lia Bathurst, this dream destination holds an unexpected surprise: meeting her real father for the first time. A father she never knew about until just weeks ago. Standing outside the gates of a charming pink villa, Lia finds herself refused entry by the insufferable, yet undeniably handsome, Raphael Knight, her father's business manager.
When an old black and white photo proves Lia’s claim, Raphael is suspicious of Lia’s intentions. Determined to ensure Lia has no ulterior motives, he decides to keep a close eye on her. As the Mediterranean sun heats up, so does the chemistry between Lia and Raphael. Could their enforced proximity blossom into something more enchanting?

About the Author
Julie Caplin is addicted to travel and good food. She’s on a constant hunt for the perfect gin and is obsessively picky about glasses, tonic and garnishes. Between regular gin tastings, she’s been writing her debut novel which is set in just one of the many cities she’s explored over the years. Formerly a PR director, for many years she swanned around Europe taking top food and drink writers on press trips (junkets) sampling the gastronomic delights of various cities in Italy, France, Belgium, Spain, Copenhagen and Switzerland. It was a tough job but someone had to do it. These trips have provided the inspiration and settings for the trilogy, The Little Cafe in Copenhagen, The Little Brooklyn Bakery and the The Little Paris Patisserie.
