My First Story Orchestra: Swan Lake
My First Story Orchestra: Swan Lake
My First Story Orchestra: Swan Lake tells the story of one of Tchaikovsky's most famous ballets, retold for the youngest members of the family.
Introduce babies and toddlers to the magic of classical music with this reimagining of one of legendary composer Tchaikovsky's most famous ballets. Swan Lake is a story about a young prince in love with a beautiful young girl who turns into a swan at sunrise. Every day, the swans take flight across the lake. Then, at night, they dance under the moonlight.
As you and your young child journey through the magical scenes, read the story text in each circle aloud and press the buttons on each page to activate the sounds! This encourages interactive learning via an immersive experience. The soothing natural scenes are illustrated impeccably, with glistening, wintery landscape spreads across each page.
Follow the gently gliding Swan Queen as she transforms and captures the heart of the Prince. The My First Story Orchestra series brings classical music to life for children aged 0-3 through illustrated retellings of classic ballet, opera, and programme music stories paired with 10-second sound clips of orchestras playing from their musical scores. Also available from the My First Story Orchestra series: The Nutcracker.
Manufacturer's note: Please pull the white tab out of the back of the book before use. Sound buttons require a firm push in the exact location to work, which may be hard for young children. All sound clips are 10 seconds long.
