Swept Away

"While volunteering for the summer at the local lighthouse in her hometown of Rocky Point, sixteen-year-old Mandy Sullivan falls for the grandson of a local artist, and as the two explore all the lovely adventures the seaside town has to offer, Mandy wonders if their relationship is more than a summer fling"--

Beachfront love blossoms in this sweet, sun-drenched romance between a townie and a tourist who turns her summer plans upside down, perfect for fans of Better Than the Movies and Today Tonight Tomorrow—now with a beautiful new look!

Swept Away follows Mandy Sullivan as she faces the summer months in her seaside hometown on the coast of Maine. With her best friend, Cynthia, off at camp and her older brother staying at college for the summer, Mandy finds herself with nothing to do and no one to hang out with. To keep herself occupied, she takes a volunteer job at the Rocky Pointe Lighthouse.

On her very first day, she meets Oliver Farmingham, a new—and incredibly cute—visitor in Rocky Pointe who asks for a private tour. Oliver seems more interested in Mandy than in the lighthouse and its history. Without her best friend at her side, Mandy struggles with how to act and what to say around Oliver. Cynthia has always been the confident, flirtatious girl everyone admired, not Mandy.

As Mandy and Oliver spend more time together exploring the coast, biking through the woods, and attending local summer festivals, their blossoming friendship begins to evolve into something more. But with Mandy’s insecurities looming, will she be able to open her heart to someone who will only be in town for three months?
