In the Nightside, that nightmarish realm hidden deep beneath London, it is forever 3 a.m. Here, inhuman creatures walk beside mythic gods. And John Taylor, private detective with a difference, is back, working this secret supernatural heart of London to find an item of inestimable value.

The Unholy Grail is missing . . . and everyone wants its corrosive power.

This time he must use his unique gifts to locate the cup from which Judas drank at the Last Supper, before it falls into the wrong hands. Anyone who touches the cup will gain tremendous power - but they will also be corrupted.

Angels, demons, sinners, and saints are all determined to find the Unholy Grail, no matter the cost. And it isn't long before they realise exactly who can lead them to it . . .

Agents of Light and Darkness is the sequel to Something From the Nightside and the second title in Simon R. Green's New York Times bestselling Nightside series.

Simon R. Green's Agents of Light and Darkness has been praised for its unique blend of supernatural and religious elements in a dark setting reminiscent of The Twilight Zone. The book has been described as an action-packed thriller that combines elements of Lovecraft and Holmes, making it a fun and engaging read. Critics have highlighted Green's considerable skill in crafting a story filled with a bizarre kick and a lot of talent on display. About the Author

Simon R. Green was born in Bradford-on-Avon, Wiltshire, where he now lives after some years in Leicester studying for his MA in Modern English and American Literature; he also studied history and has a combined Humanities degree. After years of rejections, he sold seven novels at once, just two days after he started working at Bilbo's Bookshop in Bath, after three and a half years of unemployment. The following year, he hit the Sunday Times and New York Times bestseller lists with the novelisation of Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, which has sold more than 370,000 copies, and continues to sell. His bestselling novels span fantasy, space opera and horror, and include the Deathstalker, Nightside, Ghost Finders, Secret History and Hawk and Fisher series. He is currently working on a new Deathstalker novel.
