About the Author
Chris Young is a landscape designer with over 25 years' experience across the gardening and landscape sector and a Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture. He runs a gardens consultancy, CY Gardens, working with people on business development, garden design, and content creation - and is also a consultant to Burghley House. In 2022 Chris worked on the Gold Medal-winning Place2Be Securing Tomorrow Garden at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, designed by Jamie Butterworth; he supported the development of the garden, worked on the brief with Jamie, and contributed to the design. Chris was formerly Editor of the Garden Design Journal, the magazine of the Society of Garden Designers, and Head of Editorial at the Royal Horticultural Society.
