About the Author
Terence Wade (1930 2005) was ProfessorEmeritus and Research Fellow in Russian Studies at the Universityof Strathclyde, Glasgow. He wrote 12 books,including Prepositions in Modern Russian(1985), Russian EtymologicalDictionary (1996), The Russian LanguageToday (with Larissa Ryazanova-Clarke, 1999), and AComprehensive Russian Grammar, third edition (revised byDavid Gillespie, Wiley-Blackwell, 2010). David Gillespie is Professor of Russian at theUniversity of Bath, UK, where he has taught Russian language andculture since 1985. He is the author of 8 books and more than 50papers on modern Russian literature and film.
