Description

The fourth book in the hilarious Jess Jackson series from much-loved author and comedian Catherine Wilkins, with a new cover illustrated by Katie Abey—perfect for fans of Lottie Brooks!

Jess's cartoons are actually beginning to take off. A local comic store wants to use them in a campaign, and she is in danger of becoming really rather FAMOUS (at school). This leads to some tensions with her friends. Why can't people be happy for her? It's not as if all the SUCCESS is going to her head, or anything. Or actually that it's anything like success at all...

A funny, relatable story that will touch a nerve with everyone who reads it as Jess Jackson takes on the mean girl at school, using only her pencil and her sense of humour, and makes all new friends along the way.

About the Author

Catherine Wilkins (Author)
Catherine Wilkins is a writer and comedian. She writes jokes and stories which she performs around the country to strangers in the dark, trying to make them laugh. Catherine has always wanted to write funny stories for children and is finding the whole process more exciting than that time she bungee jumped. Which is pretty exciting. If you think about it.

Sarah Horne (Illustrator)
Sarah grew up in Derbyshire, mainly under a snowdrift. She spent much of her childhood scampering in the nearby fields with a few goats. Then she decided to be sensible and studied Illustration at Falmouth College of Arts and gained a Masters degree at Kingston University. Sarah lives in London and specialises in funny, inky illustration and words for children's books.
