About the Author
Nokx Majozi learned to cook at an early age, inspired by watching her parents in their home kitchen in Durban. She soon knew she wanted to make this her career, which wasn’t something many people in her family were familiar with. Breaking the mould, she fulfilled her dreams and spent three years studying before travelling to the US to cook South African food in Florida and eventually settling in London, where she’s been for nearly 20 years.
As Head Pie Maker and Senior Chef at the acclaimed Holborn Dining Rooms, Nokx brought flavours of her home to pie-fanatics, and oversaw the kitchens there. In 2026, Nokx joined the team at Fallow.
Selected as one of Jay Rayner’s Rising Stars in 2022, she has appeared on Sunday Brunch, Saturday with James Martin and featured in Sainsbury’s Magazine, The Caterer and Observer Food Monthly.
