DescriptionHow to Break Up With Your Phone by Catherine Price is a revolutionary guide for anyone struggling with the overwhelming urge to check their phone constantly, feel disconnected from the real world, and wish to regain control over their time and attention. This insightful and practical book offers a meticulous, 30-day action plan to help you understand and overcome your phone dependency without feeling deprived or disconnected from the digital age.
The journey begins with an eye-opening exploration of the intricate ways mobile phones have woven themselves into the fabric of our daily lives and the often detrimental effects they have on our mental and physical well-being. Price dives deep into recent scientific studies that highlight how excessive phone use impacts our ability to form memories, focus, think deeply, and absorb information. She presents an alarming view on how the regular buzz and notifications of our phones can trigger stress-inducing hormones and feed addictive behaviours.

Through this period, Catherine Price guides you to meticulously identify your personal goals and priorities, recognise and address unhealthy habits, and tidy up the digital clutter of apps and emails that drain your time and attention.
Each day brings a new challenge or task to help you mindfully unplug, foster deeper connections with the world around you, and inject more mindfulness into your daily routine. These tasks range from practical tips on organising your digital space to reflective exercises encouraging you to think about how you really want to spend your time. By the end of the 30 days, you will have developed new habits and routines that support a more intentional and balanced life, even as you keep using your phone in a more mindful manner.
