When Bamford and her husband discovered this 'sleeping beauty' over 20 years ago, they knew the property needed love, attention, and plenty of imagination. Beyond the tangled undergrowth and tired exteriors, the Bamfords glimpsed the potential of what the estate could become.

Working alongside the eminent architect Alain Reynaud, they embarked on restoring the buildings and converting the vineyards and olive groves to organic status.
