Discover who you are in Christ this Advent. A 4-session Bible study from York Courses with Bishop Nick Baines, perfect for groups or personal reflection.
Renowned for his skill as a communicator, Nick's punchy and compassionate writing serves to clarify our thinking on two crucial questions: 'Who do we think we are?' And 'Why, in the end, do we matter?'
In four vibrant sessions:
- Who Am I?
- What does the Bible say?
- Being Human
- Playing a part (not playing apart)
He encourages us to feel more confident and hopeful in the midst of all daily life throws at us. That may sound straightforward, but as few of us will have failed to realise, it isn't at all! The enduring fact we can hold on to is that God has already come seeking for us and found us: that may be both our starting point and where we finally come to rest.
