When Thorfinn's unparalleled strength as a fighter is confirmed, he is thrust into the spotlight as a top contender to lead the Jomsvikings. Meanwhile, Floki plots to ensure that his grandson becomes the successor, sending his subordinate Garm after Thorfinn.
