Contributions by world-renowned scholars and practitioners offer accessible definitions of foundational concepts, detailed descriptions of recent theoretical and methodological approaches, in-depth explorations of key issues and debates, and more. The entries address a broad range of basic and advanced topics, from the historical context and theories of world Englishes to cutting-edge work on endangered languages, globalization, TESOL, and translanguaging.
