The The Michael Moorcock Library The Multiverse Slipcase Set
Slip case edition of the ground-breaking series written by the legendary Michael Moorcock and illustrated by some of the true masters of the comic arts, Walt Simonson, John Ridgway and Mark Reeve.
The Michael Moorcock Library The Multiverse Slipcase Set is an epic 12-issue series by Moorcock. It combines three unique and separate storylines from the Eternal Champion novels into one centuries-spanning narrative. This epic tale unites Elric of Melnibone, Sir Seaton Begg, Silverskin, Sam Oakenhurst, and Rose Von Beck in an adventure that traverses thousands of years.
Each storyline is illustrated by one of three artists: Walter Simonson on "Moonbeams and Roses", John Ridgway on "Duke Elric", and Mark Reeve on "The Metatemporal Detective". Set across three unique locations and timelines, the arcs follow a mutual search for the enigmatic underworld crime lord, Silverskin, concluding with the convergence of the plots.
In "Moonbeams and Roses", hero Jack Karaquazian engages in a meta-universal game of chance with leading characters from the Moorcock universe, featuring Moorcock and Simonson themselves. Meanwhile, in "The Metatemporal Detective", ace detective Sir Seaton Begg and his companion Dr. Taffy Sinclair investigate a series of seemingly unrelated crimes during the interwar period, involving none other than Adolf Hitler.
In "Duke Elric", the albino emperor Elric is magically transported to the Middle East in 1000 AD and must embark on a quest to find his way home.
This set contains: Michael Moorcockβs Multiverse Vol 1. (ISBN 9781787740808) and Michael Moorcockβs Multiverse Vol 2. (ISBN 9781787740815).

About the Author
Born in 1939, Michael Moorcock is an award-winning English writer of science fiction, literary fiction and fantasy as well as an editor and accomplished musician, having recorded with, among others, Hawkwind, Deep Fix and Blue Oyster Cult. Over his career Moorcock has created a literal pantheon of legendary characters, including Jerry Cornelius, Corum, and ErekosΓ« while his most famous creation remains Elric of MelnibonΓ©, who first appeared in the novella The Dreaming City published in 1961. Elric has gone on to appear in at least 12 books, as well as scores of comics & roleplaying games and has also been the inspiration of several albums and songs. Moorcockβs editorial career began at the age of 17 editing Tarzan Adventures, and in 1964 he became the editor of New Worlds magazine where he spearheaded a βNew Waveβ in science fiction. Although Moorcock did not coin the word βmultiverseβ, he was, however, the first sf author to adopt it as a concept, coincidentally at the same time as David Deutsch. The Many-Worlds theory was first described in fiction by H.G.Wells. Moorcock first described his more complex Multiverse in his 1963 novel, The Sundered Worlds. His version of the Multiverse has become the standard adopted in science fiction and fantasy as well as by certain physicists and mathematicians.
