About the Author

Carol Dines has published three previous Young Adult books includingtwo novels, Best Friends Tell the Best Lies (Delacorte), The Queen's Soprano (Harcourt), as well as a collection of short stories, Talk to Me (Delacorte.) In addition, she has published a collection of short stories for adults, This Distance We Call Love(Orison Books, 2021).
