The Ministry of Compliance, Vol. 1
The Ministry of Compliance, Vol. 1 by Stefano Raffaele and John Ridley presents a gripping tale where Earth's fate hinges on the unity of extraterrestrial factions. If Avigail successfully marshals her alien comrades, humanity might stave off disaster.
Thirty-seven years ago, Earth was infiltrated by an alien force known as the Devolution, bent on manoeuvring humanity towards assimilation into their empire. Each of the Devolution's 13 ministries manipulates various aspects of human civilisation, with the Ministry of Compliance, feared above all and led by the formidable Avigail Senna, ensuring adherence to the empire's mission.
As assimilation of Earth nears completion, the Devolution suffers an unimaginable setback. Amid conspiracies and rising tensions, Avigail must unify the ministries to secure her people's survival in a desperate effort defying treachery.
Acclaimed filmmaker and Eisner Award-nominated writer John Ridley (The Other History of the DC Universe, I Am Batman) joins forces with renowned artist Stefano Rafael (The Joker, GCPD- The Blue Wall) to craft a bold and visionary science fiction saga in The Ministry of Compliance.
