In the strange city of Basara, anything can happen. There’s swindling and trading on every corner, and the mysterious Scrap Goblin lurks in the depths below, conducting dubious experiments.

This is where Cobalt Cogg has come in search of his grandfather. The series of unfortunate events caused by their inventions have thrown their hometown of Mata-Mata into chaos, and Cobalt hopes they can work together to fix the damage. However, not everything goes according to plan when the Scrap Goblin insists that Cobalt has to help him come up with a new, super-powerful energy source.
